Neo-Craftsman Mouldings
We have taken the simple lines of the Craftsman style trim and added a new twist of our own, utilizing v-groove tooling in a combination of arcs and straight lines along with a chamfered edge around the perimeter.
We make matching plinth blocks for most rosette designs, available in a height up to 8". For those who would rather keep it simple down low, or require a plinth block taller than 8", our Contemporary plinth blocks with the chamfer edge are the answer. There you can also obtain inside and outside baseboard corners with the same edge to continue the flow.
These designs will be right at home in the modern architecture of today.
Pricing shown below for paintable poplar. Other species available, call or email for quote. Rosette and plinth blocks should be at least 1/4" thicker than your casing or baseboard, whichever is thicker, to allow for the edge.
We suggest the moulding blocks be a little wider than the casing, perhaps 1/8" to 1/4", on each side to get a reveal. The plinth blocks should be the same width as the rosette blocks and a little taller than the base. We will adjust the plinth block height as needed and just pro-rate the price.
