Imperial crossheads are similar to our Victorian crossheads, but on a much larger scale.  The top cap is 2-3/8" deeper and 4-3/4" wider than the base, with a 3-1/4" crown moulding bridging the gap.  The 1" thick base also incorporates the beaded belt, and should be ordered in a length about 1/2" greater than the distance from outside to outside of the casings.  Pricing is for select poplar, suitable for painting, unprimed. 

Also available with a 1-1/4" thick base to accommodate 1" thick casings.

Victorian crossheads are basically taller versions of Traditional crossheads with a beaded belt similar to our Classical crossheads incorporated in order to fill out the additional space.  The top cap and crown moulding are the same.  The base is 1" thick and they should be ordered in a length about 1/2" greater than the distance from outside to outside of the casings.  Pricing is for select poplar, suitable for painting, unprimed. 

Also available with a 1-1/4" thick base to accommodate 1" thick casings.

Traditional crossheads are constructed of three parts.  We start with the base which is 1" thick, then add the cap which is 1-7/8" deeper and 3-3/4" wider than the base, and lastly bridge the gap with 2-1/4" crown moulding to create a single work of art.  The base of the Traditional crosshead should be about 1/2" longer than the total distance from outside to outside of the casings.  Pricing is for select poplar, suitable for painting, unprimed.
